8 Hours of decent work for journalists

This May 1st, International Workers Day, the National Association of Journalists of Peru (Asociación Nacional de Periodistas del Perú – ANP) will launch the marathon « 8 hours for decent work for journalists ». An uninterrupted transmission on Facebook Live.

It will be 8 hours in which journalists from different regions of the country will bear witness on how they carry out their daily work and that, in the context of the pandemic crisis, it has become even more precarious. Likewise, we will have the presence of special guests who will help us analyse and reflect on the importance of dignifying journalistic work as well as understanding the importance of union exercises as a collective response.

This May 1st from 8 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon (Lima time, PERU, UTC / GMT -5 hours).

Connect to the ANP!

Our right to protest is not quarantined. Let us do union activism on this day of struggle.
