{"id":3977,"date":"2019-03-26T11:45:35","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T10:45:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wow-world.org\/?p=3977"},"modified":"2020-06-03T15:44:41","modified_gmt":"2020-06-03T13:44:41","slug":"towards-a-possible-merger-of-deutsche-bank-and-commerzbank","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wow-world.org\/es\/towards-a-possible-merger-of-deutsche-bank-and-commerzbank\/","title":{"rendered":"Towards a possible merger of Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Berufsgewerkschaft DHV rejects the plan of a merger between Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank respectively the takeover of Commerzbank by Deutsche Bank!<\/p>\n<p>Because the fear exists that it will lead to job losses at unprecedented scale!<\/p>\n<p>There are no convincing arguments in favour of such a mega merger with the threatening loss of up to 30.000 jobs!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Out of two \u00abweak\u00bb institutes no global champion will arise!<\/li>\n<li>Instead of responding to new challenges such as Fintechs, the new office will be busy with itself for years to come \u2013 see Postbank and Deutsche Bank: even 10 years after the announced merger the process is finally completed!<\/li>\n<li>The employees of both banks currently perform great efforts to overcome past management errors and the to master digitalisation. This would destroy everything in one blow.<\/li>\n<li>In a merger exactly that would be accomplished, what after the experiences of the financial crisis should be prevented: A bank too big to fail &#8211; the system risk will rise!<\/li>\n<li>An acquisition by a foreign institution will also after a merger not be excluded!
