Single Trade Union of Workers of the Municipalities and Decentralized Institutions of the State of Mexico (Sindicato \u00danico de Trabajadores de los Poderes Municipios e Instituciones Descentralizadas del Estado de M\u00e9xico – SUTEyM<\/em>) was host and participant of the seminar-workshop „The Risks in Social Communication and the Right to Work“, held by the Latin American Federation of Workers of Culture and Social Communication (Federaci\u00f3n Latinoamericana de Trabajadores de la Cultura y de la Comunicaci\u00f3n Social – FELATRACCS<\/em>) in Toluca, Mexico.<\/p>\n

At the Institute for the Integral Development of Public Servants of the State of Mexico (Instituto para el Desarrollo Integral de los Servidores P\u00fablicos del Estado de M\u00e9xico – INDISPEM<\/em>), exhibitions and analyzes of trade unionists from Chile, Holland, Honduras, Panama and Peru were held from 08 \u2013 12 July.<\/p>\n

With the representation of the Secretary General of SUTEyM, Herminio Cahue Calder\u00f3n, the President of the Surveillance and Research Commission of the organization, Ren\u00e9 Palomares Parra, welcomed the attendees and indicated that for the union it represents an honor to host an international seminar, then, he said, the exchange of ideas strengthens the ties of closeness and fraternity in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n

Palomares Parra said that the trade union problem in Latin America motivates those interested in closing ranks and unifying efforts, as well as renewing the cadres of each union so that young people participate and become interested in the workers‘ movement.<\/p>\n

For his part, Roberto Mej\u00eda Alarc\u00f3n, President of FELATRACCS, thanked the hospitality and reception of the Suteymista union, emphasizing that unity and strength are evident in the infrastructure and membership they have.<\/p>\n

He said that the search for social justice must continue in order to achieve equality and find coincidences for a better destiny.<\/p>\n

This seminar-workshop was attended by the Executive Secretary of the World Organization of Workers (WOW), Bj\u00f8rn Van Heusden; and the General Secretary of the National Association of Journalists of Peru (Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Periodistas del Per\u00fa – ANP<\/em>), Zuliana Lainez Otero, among others.<\/p>\n
